Crime and Investigation Channel

I thought that was the Discovery Channel? Tongue out

I emailed Sky a few months ago to ask if they'd ever put on a SciFi channel (well, I am a geek!) and they said they wouldn't consider it as it would be a "niche channel".  Like the Arts Channel or the Indian Channel aren't niche channels?

I emailed sky about the same thing.

I asked if sky would ever re-broadcast the Australian sci fi channel, typical generic reply;

"Hello,

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately we have no plans at this time to add this channel to our line up.  However these decisions are always under review.

Regards

Ah, yes, those wonderful generic replies.

I've gotten those when suggesting
The Comedy Channel
Fox Sports News Australia
Fox Classics Australia
TV1 Australia
Al Jazeera English.

But at least we're getting more movie channels.

Maybe TCL could put on Sci Fi channel. After all they broadcast TechTV and that was certainly a niche channel that was only cancelled when the the channel was sold in the US

yip the good old generic reply. Mine was when asking about Eurosport Asia Pacific (a very worth addition IMO). It is already available from Asiasat 3S, albeit encrypted.
