Is anyone running RasPlex on a Raspberry Pi 2 here?

I have been running it for ages on a first gen Pi model B with no issues really, except 60fps video didn't work so well.

I got a Pi 2 the other day and set it up just the same as the B, hooked it into my Plex server and let it cache.  I'm finding it runs SD content pretty well, but HD files just won't play for more than 10-15 seconds without freezing for another 10-15 seconds.  It's almost like it's buffering the stream from the server. 

If I look at the session info it shows it's running at about 5000Kbps while the video is playing normally, then bottoms out to around 400kbps for 10-15 seconds, then it goes back up again and the video playback goes doublespeed to catch up on itself.  Pings from my end to the Pi are steady at less than 5ms, and no dropped packets.  

Very odd.  I doubt it's the network given the B was just fine in the same place, same ethernet cable, same router port, etc.  I've rebooted everything in the loop (server/client/router).
Any ideas?
