Hi
I've just bought a new Veon TV and it's going and there is sound but it's very quiet - not what I would expect.
Can someone help please - is it supposed to be very quiet, even on 100%.

Thank you...

The built in speakers on those TVs don't really go much louder than 20 - they just start distorting.

Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.

Is there another device connected to the TV for example.. a Set Top Box or laptop - maybe turn on the volume on the source device might help

For anyone suggesting adding a soudbar etc..

these tv's only have a coax output... not a optical like EVERY other tv on the market!
AFAIK there is no ARC either....

The TV has a Freeview box attached to it.
Does anyone know if there is a setting I need to adjust on it? I've tried attaching computer speakers but it does make a difference.

Some Veon TVs definitely have ARC. We have two, one has it one doesn't.

either turn the tv up and use the freeview remote to adjust the spound, or turn the freeview volume down and use the TV to adjust the sound.
