Hi guys...

I have a home theatre downstairs system downstairs and now wish to install some speakers upstairs which will connect to my Denon 2307 receiver so I can hear music upstairs from Windows media centre. I have cabling in place to achieve this,(2 ethernet cables and a speaker cable) as well as a spare reciever upstairs to plug into .
Initially I thought of installing a Bose system just a sub and 2 dual cube speakers as I like the clean look and minimal footprint but after reading an earlier post on Bose systems they dont seem to be recommended.
So what would be good for a wall mounted speaker system with sub that would only be used for music listening that is small and preferably white that blends into a room but also fills it with good quality sound.
I also thought about the prospect of a ipod system so I can control my playlists from upstairs, but is not a must have.
One thought is some Bose speakers brought cheap from Ebay Australia connected to a suitable sub for half the price or something that competes with this type of speaker system.
Hell my old Logiteck pc sound system sounded alright playing cd's.
My budget is around $1000 give or take.
Any ideas people?

Yes, thought about those but I already have preinstalled wiring with the wires hanging out the wall so will need to plate them if I do that. May as well make use of the wiring was my thought.
Maybe some American sites have what I am looking for.
