Having recently built my first HTPC I am on the hunt for the best way to set it up to make things all the easier. I like the look of
Media Center but it's driving me nuts. So my questions is is it worth sticking with it and working it out? Another point is the fact that I have the Nova T 500 and media center doesnt support it?????????????????

Vista Media Center does not presently support the DVB-T broadcasts used in NZ which is why your Nova 500T won't work.

There is a newer version expected to be released this year (a beta has been floating around on the internet). At present your options are DVBViewer, GB-PVR or Media Portal if you want to view Freeview|HD.

Ok,

So aside from this fact (Freeview issue) what about the rest of it. IE playing TS or VOB files etc
