So i'm a slave to cool toys, and instead of having a more sensibly priced harmony universal remote i like the touch-screen-i-ness of the 1000i...

are there any other remote controls in this league/price range? Price-spy has the 1000i between $400-$450

...basicly it's for showing off :) i'm guessing no remote control on the market has bluetooth for controlling my PS3 either but any input would be great...

Go for Logitech Harmony One, it is mainly buttons operation but has touchscreen too, and won't break your pocket. There's Philips Pronto touchscreen remotes but they're in $1xxx... Logitech/Harmony is still the best in my opnion and highly recommend them.

There's a discussion that PS2 USB IR will work with PS3 on USB port. It just won't power up/down PS3 that's all. Though I'd be incline just to keep PS3 bluetooth remote separately from the all-in-one remote.
