Is there a default PIN for MySky HDi. Had mine installed yesterday, but forgot to get the PIN.  Sky Customer Helpdesk hasn't been answering the phone for most of the day - number just hangs up when I press an option.

Have tried, 1111, 0000, 1234, 9999, my old Sky Pin from Sky Digital, even the installers/techies staff code, but can't seem to get in. You only get 3 shots at it, then have to wait 10mins to try again.

Thanks

0800759759 is engaged has been most of the day, so is the general sky umber 0800800759 - press 1 or 2 and it hangs up.

I wanted the pin as it ask for it when you go into some of the settings and the Parental Control area. Also you can have it on to confirm pay movies.

I tried a few of the common pins and had to ring them to get them to reset it. Maybe for those with installations to come, remember to ask the installer to tell you what it is. Once you know the initial pin you can change it in the menu yourself.

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

try the FIRST 4 numbers on your account, failing that try the DOB of the account holder (ie 0108 if their birthday was today)

Finally got through to the helpdesk who have reset it for me and sent it to my HDi unit.

FYI though - it was set to something complete random - was nothing near my account number or anythng. Must have just been the installers magic code.

Had MySky HDi installed yesterday and didn't think to ask the installer about the pin. I found it was set to first 4 digits of our account number. Now changed to our previous one.
