There is still no online option to upgrade from a standard digital subscription to MySkyHDi for existing customers and it's still not clear if you qualify for a no cost HD ticket if you already have multiroom (also digital). This should be a no brainer since this is whats offered to new subscribers. The HD Ticket is an ongoing cost so it shouldn't be treated like a no cost install promo etc. Phone enquiries have also failed to make this clear. Should this be so hard in 2008?
And if your an existing subsriber wanting to upgrade other services remember to use your other left.

I can confirm my experience, it seems you got a less knowledgeable support person.  When you call up, say you want to upgrade to HDi, that gets you connected to the HD department (the normal support people are ill equipped to answer your questions) who can tell you what you need to know.  When I talked to them, they confirmed I will not pay extra HD ticket fees per month (because I have Multiroom).  I had a major headache trying to use the website at all personally, I gave up and called them.  They were quick, efficient, and knowledgeable once I had the right people.  Props to them for that at least!

When I rang them  they couldn't be more helpful,  talked me into upgrading my digital service to Mysky hdi with Multiroom and save $40 by gettting the first 4month multi-room for free.
At the end of the 4 months I'll send in the voucher I got when buying the HD, cancel the multiroom and get 6 months Mysky HDi for free.

Had MySkyHdi installed today. The only confirmation that the HD ticket would be included (since we already have multiroom) was a "that should be the case" from the very helpful csr - here's hoping. Is there any way to tell?
I was also asked to pay the $599.00 on the spot but since this hadn't been mentioned when booking or confirming the install I wasn't able to. Thought there was going to be an uninstall for a moment, but it's still there. Guess they'll catch it up in my billing which I would have thought would be normal.
