I have Sky hooked up to a PVR150 (analogue) and Freeview to an HVR2200 (DVB-T/analogue).

If I were to 'upgrade' to the TV Pack, I will be able to get the 'over the air' EPG for Freeview, but how will I get the EPG for Sky?  Is a DVB-S card or stick essential?  Is this why the TV pack is OEM?

NZ's H.264 DVB-T is not supported by Vista MCE or the TV pack and doesn't work. It also isn't fully compatible with NZ's EPG format (MHEG5) so could only obtain the current and next show programming that is transmitted in the DVB EIT table.

TV pack does seem to give a stable platform for Freeview DVB-S and you will get the 7 day EPG as this is transmitted in the EIT table.

Experience by myself and others here seem to contradict this statement.  I find that if I use the Freeview DVB-S EPG data, I lose series recordings, and scheduled recordings don't always record the whole program.

I'm not sure why, but I suspect it something to do with the quality of the EPG data being sent.
