Whats even funnier is when you do it on a normal TV when you are not at home, usually end up changing the volume or channel!

I have found myself trying to fast forward the radio ads in the car while driving! It is very frustrating to realise you can't timeshift real life!

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

I've found myself trying to mute or fast forward certain members of my family. Doesn't seem to work on either IR or RF remotes.

LOL!

Reminds me of the time, long ago, when I had an ICQ account and dialled my ICQ number instead of my home number... Should've seen my face when I realized it. Tongue out

I've had the girlfriend recently try to pause live-TV, though, and we don't even have an HDD recorder... I was staring at her Laughing while she frantically pressed the pause button on the Harmony remote and wondered why it didn't work.

Talking of Harmony remotes, a couple of days ago I was right clicking to traverse a folder full of images and wondered why I was going backwards! Turned out I had my 885 back to front so right was left!

Illustrates how the Harmont sprays the IR stream around. I knew it would work pointed to the ceiling but not pointing 180 deg away!

Talking of remotes and stupid things people do. I had a customer who wondered why he hadn't recieved any calls on his cell, until he pulled his remote out of his pocket. That made my day.

That's gotta be worth an award or something.

Funny thing is, every time I bring friends over for some BBQ or something, they always joke around with the Harmony pretending to be a phone. I can see where your customer got the notion from...

Frequently find ourselves watching something, then trying to fast forward only to realise its live. so hit pause and go and find something else to do for 10-15 minutes (tidy kitchen/dishes, post on forums, etc), then go back and watch in chasing play mode. You soon learn to series link everything and sit down at about 8:30 to watch 1 hour programes in 42 minutes and go to bed an hour early, thanks MYSKY HDi.

I had a survey company ring the other day with a insurance company related addvertisement survey. I hadn't seen any addvertisements for about a year, so had no idea. Makes the Fairgo add awards into an interesting show when you haven't seen any adds before.

I work with Excel all day at work,  and sometimes if I make a mistake at home – like drop a plate or something -  my first thought is “never mind,  I’ll just hit UNDO”

Yep, I've done all these things  and sometimes I want to fast forward real life too.  Sounds like that movie "Click".

Don't know how I lived without a MySky before.
