Hah, I thought the title said "will my wife complain if I buy these..."

To be honest I was quite impressed with KEF speakers, even the LS50/LS50W which are said to be "worth" tens of thousands of dollars but the development was a 50th anniversary "gift" for diehard KEF fans though as I have a wholesale account I got quite a discount off the RRP so I certainly didn't have to spend as much on them. I do really like them but I don't know if I would have purchased them if they put me back thousands!

Imagine the depreciation on those when you drive them off the lot.

120K less in straya and 280K less in blighty - is that how much the carrier insurance costs to ship them here?

By the time you can afford them your hearing has deteriorated to the point that you need the promotional puffery to know what you're missing.

Might wait until there's a few reviews on their site before making my final decision! 🤣

At least that price is for a pair - not each.

If you're not ready to go all in, you could settle for a $3K USD bluetooth speaker,

Not sure if your life would be complete, but if your SO ever found out how much you spent on speakers, your life might just be over!

Although if you are gonna spring 500K on the speakers, you have better ensure your system has the purest power feed possible with this $100,000 Gold power cable ..... (never mind the 100s of Km of aluminium conductors between you and the nearest power station)
