Have a pretty decent 5.1 Surround sound set up and it works how it should however the old deaf people (unsure if they would wear hearing aids) struggle to hear the sound out of the front and center - They would prefer it out of left and right speakers.  I am thinking about getting a pair of wireless headphones however I am wanting to know can I split the HDMI ARC so that I can a) loose a remote for them and B) have the surround sound and headphones working at the same time?

Open to headphone and splitter recommendations too.

Adjust the settings and increase the volume from the centre speaker?

Is the problem they cannot hear vocals or is this typically the voice track?
