Will we ever see it?!  I assume the problems preventing it are the same for W7?

What type of files does W7 create, and can it be told "after recording run this process?"

For gbpvr we use comskip for mpeg2 based recordings it works really well.  There may, be limited support for HD, but I haven't personally tested it.  I found it was just as easy to hit my skip button on the remote 3 times - a skip being 1 minute.

COmskip handles .ts files for the H.264 stuff but Microsoft have now created a new format to replace ms-dvr and I don't think there are any 3rd party apps that work with it yet.
