Hey guys! I have been a long time form reader but have never posted. I have been struggling to piece together my own 'perfect' media centre with HVR4000's and such but I stumbled accross something the other week that I now can't live without!
Just thought I would give these guys a plug as they look like a small NZ company that might need promotion haha. I saw a prototype of their all in one TV on TradeMe and I was lucky enough to snap it up!
I was cautious of a freeviewHD based commercial media centre under vista (bring on windows 7!) but they have seamlessly integrated all the apps you need into VMC.
It's most likely best just to have a look on their website as its a mouth full to explain, duality electronics
I got it at the price they are currently on special for but it looks as you get a free THX surround systmem now too. Might just be logitechs or klipsch but those multimedia speakers are better than most!

On another note, is it true that PowerCinema 6 in based on VMC and I won't be able to use it with dvb-t?
Cheers guys - Craig

Impressive. I wonder what TV they're building on top of.
I would like to see a MythTV/XBMC version working on that as well.

For Freeview HD they have simply made a shortcut to mediaportal.

eXDee: For Freeview HD they have simply made a shortcut to mediaportal.

And for YouTube they're using the same app that I had as a plugin for Firefox.
This would have more potential with Boxee I guess. And MythTV for the TV tuners.

Looks like a vista centric solution, no MythTV invovled.

Looks like they previously sold some other systems on Trade Me

I'd love to see some more details on their stuff.

Not sure if that's the same company but I will keep you posted on how my entertainment centre (from the first post www.dualityelectronics.com ) goes.
Looks like its all hauppauge tuners. Still can't get over that they fitted such a powerfull system into normal LCD TV dimensions. I do alot of after effects work and having a very powerfull desktop gpu in my TV is insanly good.

Do you have a link for the trader on TradeMe?

Will check my fiancees trademe account later, I'm sure it was just off a private trader, maybe someone involved in duality electronics. Feel free to give them an email, I'm off to build my bluray library on this thing!
