I'm mounting my HTPC, and there's a thing that "worries" me about making it 100% usable. The fact is that until now, we used to play DVDs and CDs on our old DVD player. With that, it's very easy: you put the CD/DVD, and it plays. Even if you power on with a CD/DVD on it, it plays.
So now, I would like to reproduce that effect on my HTPC, but at the moment, I have been able only to make it autoplay when I insert a disc and windows is already started. I would need that windows (or MediaPortal) checks at the beginning if a disc is inserted, and plays it. That way my wife could play CDs without powering the TV, as before.
