howdy guys and gals,

i have a crazy problem with an htpc im building for a friend consisting of an M3N78-VM with an Nvidia 9400GT, now the problem is that in Mediaportal when displaying any full HD content the graphics crashes and brings up an error about "Nv4 disp" at which point the machine must be power-cycled manually.

In the course of my diagnosing i installed the 9400 into my personal system whereby it operates perfectly fine. I also installed my personal 9600GT into my friends machine which then also runs perfectly fine. It just seems to be this particular MB/Graphics combo ???

Does anyone have any words of wisdom or personal experience?

Try slightly older drivers.
I had all sorts of fun trying to get my video cards running with the lastest drivers and had to drop back a few releases to get stability. And this was for 2 older cards (7800's).
