Sorry for real dumb noobi question but...

Just purchased a panasonic BD60 yeeha!!!

I confused on 2 counts
1 Basically do I just connect via ethernet cable to my broadband modem and away I go?
2 If so what are all the settings for in the set up menu were I can input proxy dns settings etc
Do they need to be configured to talk to the modem??

Cheers for any help

Plug it in and it should work.
The proxy etc would be for business use, home users dont usually run proxies.
