I have seen network media player's on the net e.g. PopcornHour, Xtreamer, etc. Some have internet radio such as Shoutcast, and TV such as Youtube, etc.

But are there any that you can add you own URL to streams (mms, http, rstp, etc)? Basically I am looking for something like Windows Media or Real Player in a box (without all the bells and whistles). Ideally it would need to do 1080p over component.

I have an Reciva-based internet radio, and would like something similar that does internet TV and Radio streams without relying on a website or PC software. I am not wanting to go the HTPC route, due to space and cost.

Any suggestions please? Thanks in advance.
