My Yamaha RX-V1400 has died. It no switch on no more .... Well, sort of. It does a "double-click", like a power on, then power off real quick. I suspect that one of the output rails has shorted, imposing a DC on the speaker output, and the speaker protect is kicking in and switching off the amp before any damage is done. And yes, still does it when nothing is connected.

So, is there a recommended repairer for Yamaha AV kit ? A google didn't find much, other than plenty of piano and motorbike repair shops :-)

TIA

Still awaiting my e-mail from Yamaha ... received the confirmation that I had placed an inquiry. But then.... nothing.
