For those that have been searching for a way to (easily) convert NZ Freeview WTV files to something usable... it seems that the latest beta of MCERemux is the answer (beta 5). I have successfully converted TV1, TV2 and TV3 recordings to .ts, complete with sound! It is a good day.

yup workin for me too! Been waiting for this to work for ages, Finally I can shrink the size of my old recordings.
Have you done any work on automating the process yet?
