Hi

I want to use DVB-T Christchurch Sugar Loaf

Region = 5120

but i have no idea what the area code is

The GUI setup requires this on the first setup tab under General

Also I noted an error in one of the sample files which uses NLZ instead of NZL

You don't need any of the location data for Terrestrial Freeview.

The samples have all been redone for the next version.

cool yeah it seemed to work in the end without, thanks.

i found all the instructional threads on geekzone quite confusing party because they are out of date, and not really needed as there is a GUI configuration utility.

A lot of the posts on here are from users who started when there was no GUI so set the parameters up manually. They are a different format.

Support is focussed on Sourceforge now - I just happened to be passing and noticed your post.

cheers steve, after the next release i should probably message the geekzone owner and ask him to alter his stickied guide/post on the forum. It makes things unnecessarily complicated

That's a good point, I'd forgotten about that document.

It will definitely need rewriting when the next version comes out as it's moved on a lot even from 2.17
