Has just started to happen in the last couple of days. The Epg scan with epc centre shows up with nothing and thus produces a null xml file. the error code is as follow:

You only need to scan a single frequency to get all the EPG data.

Try scanning the other 2 individually.

I had a similar failure to collect a few months ago - but tried setting a different scanning frequency from the default for CHCH - which got it working again.  Here's my current EPG Collector.ini file - which has worked fine for me for 3 months now - try editing your settings to use the same ScanningFrequency - see if it works for you:

Output=C:\EPG\TVGuide.xml
Timeouts=10,300,5
Option=USEIMAGE

[DVBT]
TuningFile=New Zealand.Christchurch - Sugarloaf.xml

Thanks, yea had to do a combination. It appears the dvb-t tuner in my hvr-4400 had some wierd problems and so could not tune into of the frequencies and so didnt pickup the epg. Then trying with my usb tuner had to change to another frequency. So i think its sorted now.
