I currently have a Hauppauge HVR440 and and wanting to add another two tuners to my Win7 Pro 64bit PC.

The Hauppauge HVR2210 has component inputs that the HVR2200 doesn't, but it's about $30 cheaper. why? whats missing with the 2210?

Will be using with Win7 media centre. Already have a remote with the HVR4400.

I was under the impression that the only difference was that the 2210 comes with a remote. I could very easily be wrong though...

Why is the 2210 cheaper then?

I think whether you get a remote or not depends on whether you buy the OEM MCE edition or full retail pack? Some sites advertising the 2210 have a USB IRT reciever/Transmitter bundled (ala IR blaster?) and component video inputs as well, the 2200 has Svideo.

The 2200 is dearer and more polular on pricespy. Is the 2210 a very new card?

I think you have hit the nail on the head. It is a newer card, at a new price point. The other reason for the price difference might be the higher NZ dollar, whereas the older 2200 might be older stock.

Just a thought...

In Aus the HVR2210 is the dearer card. Odd.

I'll go for the HVR2210 I think. I've already got an HVR4400 with mediacentre remote. using Win7 media centre. Don't need another remote or software.
