I have been playing with my HTPC, a Windows 7 based unit, where I have a single DVB-S2 card and two USB based DVB-T tuners.  Originally I had this setup as a 'NZ' based unit and used the DVB-S data to populate the EPG for the DVB-T tuners.  All worked well and has done for over a year.

However I have been playing with VPN's and netflix for a while, so thought I would add it all into Media Centre, one nice interface to all content.

But this requires running the Media Centre setup from scratch so the region can be changed to USA - this gives access to the 'Internet TV' and 'Netflix' options.  So know I have completed that, and setup the Freeview DVB-S channels, and its all working, including netflix (when oh when will we have this option here!!)

However, my problem is that even though the setup recognised the dual DVB-T tuners, there is no option to scan for channels - the "scan for more channels" menu item is simply missing!  Researching this it seems that when entering a postcode (I did 00000) it somehow makes MCE thing that I can only get channels for that postcode, and since none of them are tuned in (becasue the postcode isn't real) I get no channels.

Does anyone know how to get around this?  I know changing the region of MCE back to NZ will fix it, but then I loose my Internet TV options.  Maybe the world is so unjust that I cannot just have it all ;-)

My backup plan is to buy a dual DVB-S2 tuner and simply not have DVB-T in the HTPC - and just use the TV for that.  But that seems a bit stupid.
