Hi Guys, I know there are several threads but they are not really designed for stupid people like me. Not to mention at 44 pages long with peopole going off track it is hard for us that don't know the lingo.

I apologise if I have not put in the effort to find what I need but I have.

First time with MCE, I have a Avermedia Twinstar PCI-e cardI am able to view Freeview using it via arial.

I am having problems where the likes of TV2 and TV1 giving no data as to future shows during the day so I am picking its a EPG issue.

What I need to know is how do I go about getting EPG installed into MCE - From what to download to how to install it (if its not a simple case of running a .exe file

Moved this to correct forum...

What you need is the EPG Collector.

That's all.

For the longer version... The EPG on Freeview|HD comes in two formats: the standard format, limited to current program plus next (sometimes a bit more), or the MHEG5-based stuff, which comes with the week long data.

Windows Media Center doesn't understand MHEG5, EPG Collector will capture the data and convert to the format needed to load into MCE. It will even load it for you.
