So I'm receiving my TV channels in WMC through DVLink TVSource (v3.2).
All the SD channels seem to bring their EPG data (presumable EIT format) directly in with the stream, and I've had no problem accessing it. The HD channels, though, present no EPG data through TVSource. My understanding is that their guide data is in MHEG5 format, which isn't supported by WMC (and presumably TVSource too?). So far this hasn't really been a problem...I've just copied the guide data from their SD equivalents, within the WMC guide setup.
But with the introduction of SoHo, channels are now being produced in HD only (a trend that will obviously inevitably continue). So I need to find away to collect and use the MHEG5 data directly from the HD channels.
EPG Collector sounds like it's exactly what I'm looking for! And v3 looks way simpler to configure than the previous version. But I'm still kind of stuck. I haven't been able to find transponder settings that provide me any guide data....
Is there a more detailed set up guide for it? Or is someone able to tell me where I'm going wrong?
In DVBLink my LNB settings are Ku-Linear (Circular), LOF1 10 750 000 , LOF 2 N/A, and LOF SW N/A (using Optus D1). What would the equivalent of those be within EPG Collector??
Thanks for your help!
