Hi Guys,

I've got an HTPC running a dual DVB-s2 sat card, Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.16Ghz and an ATi Radeon HD5450.  I've managed to get sky decoding through the system and SD plays fine through media centre 7, no stutter at all... However as soon as I switch to an HD feed it goes nuts and slows to a crawl, pixelates the screen, stutters and the audio doesn't sync with the picture.

Has anyone else suffered this at all?  Any workarounds?

Also, it seems that the card through Oscam does the decoding work and takes about 0.15s to do this but the channel change in media centre takes several seconds...

If you view the hd channels in dvblink using vlc media player does it do the same thing?

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Tbe sync seems better and it is smoother, but it is still pixelated but not as much as it was through WMC7.

Here is a picture of how Sky Sports 1 HD looks like in VLC.

I've also noticed that I can't seem to get Sky Sports 2 HD, yet I can get the SD feed.  The EPG has identified it and the channel mapper has it showing in the config page but preview does nothing!
