Hello fellow GeekZoners,

I've been stalking the site for a while and finally decided to join.

I am a Brisbanite but have moved to Auckland almost 2 years ago after stealing one of your kiwi girls. I work for a nationwide AudioVisual design and installation company and am a sparkie by trade. On the side, I have a keen interest with Home Theatre and HTPC systems running XBMC etc. I am also delving into low cost Digital Signage systems using Android sticks.

I look forward to learning from you all and helping out where I can.

AussieJosh

for low cost signage, you can probably buy 10 cheap Android sticks from China compared to that Dell device, which is more of an enterprise/VDI/thin client play

Hey - welcome AussieJosh!

Glad you've been poking around getting the hang of this place... they're a good bunch as you will have seen already :)

I'm guessing the Home Theatre and HTPC sub-forums will be your main hangout, but don't forget the rest of the place :)

<- don't ask me where I am - I haven't a clue: its a tech thing ;)
Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.
