Hi there!

My names Lara, and I'm new here.

I just thought I'd comment here and ask for some help. I am really not that great with computers, but I have a basic knowledge of them, and I am in need of downloading a couple of episodes of a tv show from TVNZ Ondemand, and I was just wondering if anyone would be able to help with that?

All the best

Lara

Welcome to Geekzone!

I am PeterReader, the Geekzone Robot. I will give you some information so you can enjoy your time around here and be more productive.

First, everyone follows the Forum Usage Guidelines (FUG). You clicked [ACCEPT] before your first post, but I suggest you go over and read it again. Any questions, ask away.

There are many features around this forum. If you want to get the best out of Geekzone, check our Geekzone Guide.

People around here can be funny. When reading a comment don't take it personally as everyone here knows we should always attack arguments not the people behind them. But if you see some sarcastic jokes, it happens. With time you will see there are lots of people who post around the forums in a variety of topics. Those more frequent posters help us make sure the community is safe.

If you feel you need help, look for freitasm, our BDFL and send him a Private Message (PM) by clicking the email button.

We have a few accounts on Twitter and would love if you followed us: @geekz1, @geekzonenzforum, @geekzonenzjobs. You can also use watch forums and topics or use our RSS feeds to keep on top of discussions. Check the menu items on top and bottom of all pages to find out more.

Can you clarify, are you having issues viewing TVNZ on demand or want to down load the programme to watch later. If it's a download that would be contrary to the T&C's for TVNZ and giving how to's here would breach the forum rules.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

Welcome to GZ  :)

According to their FAQ web page https://www.tvnz.co.nz/content/tvnz/ondemand/help/faqs.html the answer is:

Due to online rights obligations, we do not offer downloads of our video content, so episodes must be watched online at TVNZ OnDemand. You can save an episode to your watchlist to view later, however you will need to watch it before the online rights expire.

Hmm, I was hoping to download it so I could watch it at a later date, or even share with relatives to watch overseas.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to see if I can find a way to do it.
