Hey, ill cut straight to the point cuz i hate long introductions. My names Kris. I'm an open source programmer in my spare time and I try to solve many problems that annoy me about todays technology by writing software to overcome it or building computer hardware to solve it.

I would definitely like to see more Linux based computers ready to buy in electronics stores. Many people like Microsoft but the fact is its just a standard now that holds the market because so many people have it. Like ipods. A brand that can't be ignored.

But if you are interested in linux i'd be happy to talk to you about it. I worked on several beginning linux projects that turned out big. Hope I get to discuss some things with you. I joined geekzone because theres alot of knowledge out there I would like to gain from you all. Thanks. Kris.
