Ah nice choice!

If you happen to need geek stuff try PC Gear dunedin, they seem to like us geekzoners for some reason (one of the geekzone moderators is the manager)

Hey.

When it comes to monitors I would suggest a LG L226WT 22" Laughing.
I got one becuase it was quite cheap at the time. Can't believe how good it is.

I prefer the Samsungs tbh. ts the glossy finish and that extra finesse in the design.
Got 2x22" samsungs here and the comments are always ooooh nice..... but then I am an arty farty type person. Sci fi fan and the blue lit power buttons match all my case lighting etc

The LG looks very nice too. Straight forward slim cased 'square' - great if you need 2 or more but up next to eachother... not dissimilar to moy old HP screens that I enjoyed too.

Welcome to NZ... there are a few pros and cons to the place. Hope you settle in ok :)
