Hi, I'm Alex and I've just joined geekzone.

I'm living in Auckland, originally from the Waikato, and I've been in the Telecommunications industry more years than I care to admit. My technical interests are Radio Communications, Unix, Linux, ADSL and lots more. Outside of the technical side, I've got three kids - my teenage son lives with me, I've played around with cars (including some motorsport) and enjoy running to keep fit.
When I'm recovering from running injuries I surf the net and post on forums... so I get to post quite a bit.
