Hi there

I've been in the GIS industry for over 20 years but using the Integraph/Hexagon Utilities model.

Just yesterday Waipa went live with ArcGIS Pro UN Model.  A huge learning curve!

Hopefully some of you with plenty of ArcPro knowledge will be able to help me with some (silly) newbie questions.

Looking forward to a few days off after the pressures of the past few months

Welcome! What were Waipa using before ArcGIS? Hexagon/Intergraph too? 🤢

ArcGIS seems to be making a wave through the NZ infrastructure/utilities sector.

Waipa was still using AutoCAD and NCS (if anybody remembers what that is/was).

The Hexagon model certainly needed an upgrade, I did know the software very well, and it is frustrating when the new and improved ArcGIS doesn't do quite the same.

Good and bad with all software huh?
