Although I live in Hong Kong, I'm setting up a media center for my parents who live in Masterton, New Zealand (so DVB-S). Hence the interest in geekzone. Plus this is an active forum, has a nice vibe, and has been very helpful.

Other than that, I am also the author of the TVXB tv guide software. TVxb works the way it is because the HK guide has to come from 10-20 different web-sites so it needs to be able to interpret data in tabular format in general.

I'm moving to Seattle (or perhaps Portland) in a couple of months (90% probability) and move planning is occupying my time.
