Hi folks!

I'm Bren (it's short for Brendan, but no-one seems capable of spelling that!)  I've been a geek since first being introduced to BASIC programming at age 6.  I'm an IS Analyst for a rural retailer - primarily doing 2 things; user support and intranet development (with Sharepoint Services).

I'm also self employed as a part time web developer working mainly with PHP and MySQL (and Joomla! - which I'm madly in love with right now).

I've been an avid reader of GeekZone for aaaages but only just signed up after hearing there were phones up for grabs (damn Telecom and their awesome advertising campaign!)
