Hi. I new user so thought I'd say hi. Been reading for a long time but never got around to joining. Was forced into joining today due to a problem with my iPhone. I've posted in the iPhone discussion under the topic "could not activate cellular data network".

I'm Mac user and just into all things IT.

One question, why does the little flag under my user name in posts show an Australian flag when my profile says NZ???

Welcome to Geekzone.

If you are using an Aussie ISP, then the flag will show the corresponding country.

Welcome to Geekzone!

The flags are related to the IP where you are posting from and some IPs are in our database as belonging to an Australian ISP... It happens.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the welcome the the explanation about the flag. I was thinking it could be something like that. I'm on Orcon by the way.
