I have been a reader here for a while and thought I had better join !  It is great to have a good local tech forum.

I am a contract developer/tech consultant based in Auckland with an unhealthy interest in tech.

Recent gadget Wits A81 Android 2.2, 7" tablet - cant beat it for USD200 - this is my test platform for some Adobe AIR development work (and other stuff :))

Just shifted to 2degrees 3G after being 10 year Vodafone customer - cant believe the improvement in coverage !  The cost savings are nice too.
