Hi!

I am new to this site and already am enjoying it alot.

20 year old woman working as junior systems engineer.. learning alot so these forums help alot.

Would be interested to talk to any other women working in a similar role to me as I have not yet found any.

Cheers!

Hi srose9 - I'm female but not working in the industry - my job is unpaid, looking after our home systems and keeping an eye on our youth sailing trust's website.

WELCOME!!!

These guys are great!

<- don't ask me where I am - I haven't a clue: its a tech thing ;)
Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.

You'd be surprised. I think there are lots of women around here on Geekzone, but not all them tell people about their gender. Like in gaming - that other player beating you is more likely to be a girl than you think...

My screen name is from the days when I didn't let on I was female online ;)

I figured I'd been online enough to finally put my pic on my profile a while back :)

I'm certain there are many more undercover women online... most discovered early to keep that under wraps when they were talked down to or hit on. I must say things have been improving in the last few years (I've never had those sort of issues here)
