Hi, I see others introducing themselves so thought I would also.   Hamiltonian at heart but living in Papamoa.

Bought my first computer for $2200 in 1983 I think it was.  An Atari 400 with massive 16k memory.  Then I upgraded to the 130 xe.     Then I went Commodore 128 and then to Amiga 500.  The first thing I did with the 500 was take the processor out and put in a 286 board and 68010 processor.  That was start of modifying computers. When Commodore went bust I switched to PC and built my first computer a 486 unit. Over the years I have built around 50 units for friends and family and maintain the ones I made.
Thats my hobby.

Heavy Plant mechanic by trade
