Hi folks, I am seventy two and married to Lyn. I live in Southland NZ at the moment, though the house is about to be sold and we will live in our motorhome/bus. I have had a very interesting and active life. Thirty two years as a telephone technician, five years ROV pilot/technician in various oilfields, nine years storeman forkhoist operator, and and at the same time, nine years SCUBA instructor. My only sports have been diving, jogging and keeping fit with hard work. My hobbies have been gardening, photography and some electronics.

I am interested in most technical subjects and have my opinions about most things :-) I'm looking forward to contributing to some interesting discussions.

Welcome to Geekzone... Spent some days in Napier during the break and met a couple of people who sold everything to live in their campervans driving around New Zealand. One of them is considering taking it over to Australia after a year or so doing it around our country.
