Howdy.

I found this forum after searching for info on the Lumia 800 cellphone but I found a whole lot more once I got here Cool

I am a full-time comms network designer for Alcatel-Lucent but I also have a part-time aerial photography company (www.ascendphotography.co.nz - yes I need to update my website...) where I shoot using radio-controlled electric helis.  I am phasing the helis out at the moment and replacing them with multicopters - quadcopters, hexacopters and octocopters!  I build all my own models and camera gimbals - I have been a rc modeler for 27 years.

I am now working on aerial video and my first commercial video was done for the Lumia 800 - release date is the 1st March for the video.  I can't wait for it to be public... it is awesome Innocent

As a keen photographer, I will shoot anything from the ground or air!  While the rc models can legally be flown up to 400' (and not-so-legally up to 1000), most of my jobs are building and roading construction where I often only need to be tree-top height.

I look forward to (descretely) following techie stuff here which I am usually too busy to follow.

Pete
