Cool my HP stream 7 with 8.1 for $109 delivered via amazon hit my front door this morning
and so far it looks like a pretty nice unit for $109!!!

What do you plan to use this for? I am tempted just because my 8fu is still weak, but on the hand I just don't like 8. Maybe if I used it more often for something.

Miracast wireless display, or a USB displayllink based solution (it has 1 micro-B USB 2.0)

with 8 you really want to use a touch machine to get the most out of it

not necessarily.

Windows 8 straight to desktop with keyboard shortcuts is great.

Just use the built in search to find stuff.

By the way the unit has bluetooth!
my Planatronics hooked up staright away
I didnt really have nay plans as to what to use it for
But now I am thinking wether i can use it as a control deck for xbmc.....

One thing that does P*** me off with windows 8 is that stupid login screen I wish there was a quick app for getting rid of it rather the current expedition you have to go on

NZD price looks to be around 200-250 from local sellers. Interested locally if there are any a bit lower.
