As per the title says why on earth would you pay this much for this laptop. There can be no financial gain out of it that I can see.

because someone doesnt know any better, not every is a geek and knows whats a good deal/specs or not

I'm confused, the final bid is $335, which I agree is overpriced but not crazy, still an i5 with a 2Tb drive and an external graphics card, surely better specs that many new laptops in the 500-100 range.

And I was expecting a Macbook Pro.....:D

DV6 worth maybe ~$200-$250.

$335 isn't exorbitant though considering it's an auction sale...bidding wars do happen. Throw in an i7, 8GB RAM & SSD you got yourself a decent lappie with a new lease on life...

Sweet I am about to sell a dv6 same vintage but it is an i7 with 8gb ram and a bluray drive.
Only has a 1tb hdd though and the battery no longer works.
Might get more than I thought.

Its worth whatever someone wants to pay for it really. Their own fault if its a lemon and the sellers being completely honest.

Unfortunately probably find its for someones kid who wants to play Cyberpunk, and got told an i5 and Nvidia card will do the trick.........

People see "Windows10" and assume its quite new

I dont now how old that one is, but DV6's have been around for 8 years .

So
its old
only 4G RAM
No SSD
NV vid chip on an old laptop : thats a crap shoot as to if that chip will soon fail due to heat

value = $100 ish ?
