I am sending mine back as the screen resolution does not allow me to use my  external monitor at full resolution and I’m going to be charged $172 for doing so, which seems a bit pricey to say the least.

Plus it seem worth while doing so, as the screen resolution on new xps16 is now 1600x1080 as standard, were mine was 1300 x 700, which was a price difference of $400, plus you now get windows 7 which I was not entitled to, as I original order it 4 weeks ago (and only just recived it).

"Restocking fee" is on average $160, but I think its a percentage of the purchase price?

I considered sending mine back to be able to get windows 7 but the thought of waiting again was just too much and Im slowly getting used to Vista now...

Doing your best is much more important than being the best.
