Hey Guys, I am getting a new laptop tomorrow and well i was just wondering if you had any suggestions before i get the one i want. I will be getting a Compaq Presario due to my budget and needs. I need the laptop for general home use and for school. So any thoughts will gladly be appreciated, Thankyou.

Go in with a model you are after. Do your research online rather than rely on the information you get in-store.

See if you can get an i3 or i5 processor (depending on budget). Try not to get tricked into buying store warranty!
