Hi,

just got a cheap wee second hand acer aspire one 10.1". and planning on chucking a new HDD in there (along with some other simple upgrades) as the one in there at the moment has decided to die on me!

having a bit of a glimpse on Pricespy i know what would be suitable for any of my other laptops as power etc isnt a as bigger issue with them as it will be with a netbook... So! im looking for recommendations on what to use! and has to fill specifications below..

* 2.5" SATA
* Low Power consumption is a must (or as low as possible with a larger sized HDD)
* be at least 320gb , possibly 500gb and if im lucky a 640?
* a recognizable brand name

Dosent need to be lightning quick as after all it is only a net book!, but a reasonable speed would be nice.
Curruntly looking at the Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD5000BEVT  the Samsung SpinPoint M7 HM500JI and the Seagate Momentus ST9500420ASG.

any other suggestions are welcome! not only limited to 500gb
thanks for your help

E: oh, feel free to share any horror stories you have had with these drives, would be much appreciated!
