Hi - can anyone recommend a data recovery provider, preferably in Wellington, who is reasonably priced?

I have a personal laptop hard drive from a sony vaio which has the click of death & is not being recognised on W7/ Visa/ XP/ Ubuntu either internally or via an external USB caddie.

Quotes I've had so far are of the order of $750.

Thanks

I would consider the quotes you have to be resonable.

Grab some quotes from:

http://www.dtidata.co.nz/
http://www.digitalrecovery.co.nz/
http://www.datarecovery.co.nz/

They aren't all local but if they are significantly cheaper than $750 then a courier ticket won't be a big deal ;)
