hello i just got a acer lap top with wireless lan i plan to get a wireless router for it in 3 days im wating for telecom to send it to me. i was just wondering by useing wireless lan will the internet go slower on my laptop if i have a good signel?. do i lose speed
does anyone no?

The maximum speed for wireless is 54Mbps. Wired is 100Mbps. But since your internet will probably be 3.5Mbps that wont be an issue.

Wireless does struggle to maintain a contant download speed, sometimes it wll fluctuate. Also you may suffer from having the wireless lose its connection on the odd occasion.
