Yes. Official word is that HSNS and EUBA in Chch and Wel is affected.

Some Auckland Telecom DSL is down as well.  So is VDSL.

Yup, just reported it in the ISP fault database, had half a dozen clients drop offline at 12:34pm, and Telecom just updated it's status message.

http://www.telecom.co.nz/servicealerts

"We are currently aware of a technical fault affecting broadband services. Some customers may have issues connecting to the internet via broadband. Our technicians are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience."

Which is the fastest I've seen then update their status, so either they changed their update policy or it's going to be down for a while...

My little corner of the world of ADSL2 in Hamilton has gone.

And I've only had the service for approx. 48hours. Cry

Local next hop from my modem/router is still up.

I had issues with TNZ adsl and VF mobile both having dns issues. 2d mobile was fine.
That being said, changing my modems DNS servers did not resolve the issue.

[EDIT] Its quite funny, I cant access Vodafone.co.nz, but google and geekzone are fine.
