I'm surprised you expected otherwise. Filters are on the server, not your device. So it is a mid check
Sender -> SMTP(s) -> MX Server - <Spam interrogation> delivery checks <user filter check> -> mailbox -> mail clients <other client spam rules>
Only issue is we can't tell if its the custom filter, or they have finally actioned it at the higher levels.
/edit I got 8 sitting there. And not one of them meets my saved filter rules. So the higher level checks are now working
arteramoro.win ([185.80.128.164] - ESNet VPS lithuania.
I was surprised as I had not changed anything.I thought the filter system on the server may have been faulty. If it is fixed at the higher level better still.
OK Now this is starting to get ridiculous. Geekzone forum subscriptions are now starting to be filtered as spam.
* Anyone else having issues with spam showing up in the Xtra Webmail inbox?
* Muppets on the road
* You know you're old when...
Is this some sort of twisted plot?
Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
FineWine:My Geekzone stuff is all going into the inbox correctly.

Mine are going to my inbox as usual.
It's probably a side effect of the cunning plan that blocked my Spark bill once. I've seen reports elsewhere that legitimate mail, such as bills, does get rejected from time to time.
I suspect that there's some kind of individualised Bayesian-type filtering going on that still needs training.

I had that recently as did some others. I whitelisted the email, I think it was forums@geekzone.co.nz in Webmail, but I cannot now find that option. I assume the new spam button has taken that over as spam buttons generally also whitelist the address

One suggestion I've seen is to add the address to your contacts.

Makes sense, I'm sure I accessed a whitelist setting, but that address is in my contacts
my geekzone emails come through ok with no whitelisting or address book entries. All ISPs have limits on size, number etc on sending/receiving and mail box size. They may be looking closely at these limits while looking for spammers etc. Hopefully ok now?
Still genuine Netflix and Geekzone are being filtered but now genuine Trade Me also.

My Netflix are now not filtered to spam, and I am getting spam of this current variety into my spam folder. Its improving. I have been marking as spam, and Not Spam any false positives (I have to move them to my Bulk Email folder to do that)
so some users still cant see the not spam icon. Are you using Windows 10 1803 ?

Im using Safari on a MacBook. Tomorrow when on a PC I'll check. To see the Not Spam button I need to move the false positive to the Bulk Email folder
OK now only some of Geekzone forum topics are being filtered.
The spamers are now hitting:
Edmonds
Whittakers
They will run out of NZ companies soon
